The wait. . .

(Pic courtesy : Google )

She was waiting anxiously for him to arrive. Continuously staring outside the window , she checked the time. Its been 25 minutes since she has last called him.

Every passing minute was making her more anxious , more impatient. She went to the kitchen and started making the dining table and checked everything.
This wait was different , she thought.
But she was now used to of this feeling and waiting for him. She remembers , that no matter what the situation was , in every ups and downs that she had faced , whenever she felt alone , when she was healthy and when she was weak , he never failed to bring smile on her face.
And just then , the doorbell rang “tiiing-tooong”.
She quickly went to open the door , and there he was , the delivery man holding her happiness packed in the pizza box.

  1. The end was such a suprise and funny when you mix it with this line “She went to the kitchen and started making the dining table and checked everything.” Wow Unnati
