Sitting at the corner of her dark room , sobbing with her face in her palms , there she was frightened . It was another nightmare she got that night.
She was now used to of these nightmares waking her at the middle of the night. Nightmares that didn’t let her sleep. Nightmares that were killing her from inside. Nightmares that were the harsh reality of her past , of her childhood.
And the worst part was no one knew what was she going through. People made fun of her.
They see a girl who don’t speak much , seems shy , who always sit at the corner seat of the class , alone.
They call her “stupid” and even “chu*iya” behind her back for being all nervous and excited at the same time. They call her ” fattu ” for not being gutsy enough to talk with strangers.
But no one knew that she was learning to make new friends , that she was learning to hold her emotions. That it was not easy to go through all that.
Not easy to go through sexual abuse at the age of 12.
The age when every other girl played outside in the grounds , she used to hide herself under her bed. When every other girls were playing with the toys , she was learning the harsh reality of her life. And that was not easy.
She always thought that there are no monsters , no ghosts , no evils until the day that monster touched her breasts , that monster killed her childhood .That monster chopped her wings before they had started to develop , but she was born to fly and now she is learning to fall in love with herself again.
” Take a stand girl , don’t cry !
Don’t let your childhood die !!
Stop joining your hands in plea !
Stop nodding your head & agreeing !!
Instead make a fist , and break his face !
Stop waiting for anyone else , to take your case !!
Stop tolerating , its time high !
Collect your wings , and fly !!
Take a step forward , don’t be his toy !
Don’t let him strangle your happiness & joy !!
Take a stand girl , don’t cry !
Don’t let your childhood die !! “
P.s : Sexual abuse / child molestation kills one from inside. Better communication / better bond in relationships with your daughter / sister / friend / student , will help heal her heart and take a step forward.
